The Atlanta Falcons will be facing off against the New England Patriots at the weekend as part of the NFL’s Super Bowl 51.
The news would have stayed in the sports section if not for the Falcon's rallying cry '#RiseUp' spreading on Twitter:

See, to celebrate the Superbowl, when you tweet the hashtag #RiseUp, Twitter automatically adds an emoji of the team:

But the hashtag has also been adopted by people protesting against Donald Trump’s immigration ban.

But when demonstrators and supporters to the movement tweeted out #RiseUp, they got an unexpected addition: that little Falcons emoji:
