Woman freaks out after Reese’s TV ad pops up at the exact moment she’s eating Reese’s chocolate

They say TV advertisements are meant to reach their target audience – and this TikTok proves some companies are getting it just right.

TikToker Morgan Mousel (@morgthestallion) filmed herself eating a Reese’s pumpkin, which she said had expired a year ago. She said she wanted to see if it was “actually shaped like a pumpkin” after all this time.

Before she could find out, though, her mouth drops and Morgan flips the phone camera around to show people what she is seeing –a Reese’s commercial for the company’s popular peanut butter cups on her TV.

“Oh my god, look! A Reese’s commercial came up,” Morgan said.

Just a coincidence, right?

But it gets weirder...

@morgthestallion

there’s no such thing ad a coincidence….

The voiceover for the commercial can be heard in the background. It says: “The fact that this Reeses’ ad showed up in this exact moment proves that your devices are listening to your stomach.”

“WHAT THE F**K?” Morgan shouts, “WHAT THE F**K? WHAT THE F**K? WHY DOES THAT SAY THAT?”

Not believing what she has just seen, the TikToker continues: “WAIT, WAIT, I JUST GOT THAT ON CAMERA.”

She asks her dogs sitting next to her: “DID Y’ALL SEE THAT TOO?”

Despite remaining stunned by the advert, Morgan laughs and shows off her expired Reece’s pumpkin, which no longer looks like a pumpkin “at all.”

Her TikTok caption reads: “there’s no such thing ad a coincidence….”

Since posting the incident to TikTok, the video has received 18.5m views, with over 4.3m likes and thousands of comments from people who were just as freaked out as Morgan was.

One person wrote: “That gave me chills.”

“IVE NEVER EVEN SEEN THAT COMMERCIAL WHAT LIKE WHY WOULD THEY EVEN SAY THAT, THAT’S NOT A NORMAL THING TO SAY IN A COMMERICAL,” another person commented.

Someone else said: “THIS IS SO FUNNY BUT CONCERNING.”

“I would be so paranoid after that bruh,” a fourth person replied.

After watching Morgan’s video, it seems that our devices might be listening more than we would like to think...
