Dr Xavier is applying for US citizenship to ‘fight Trump’

While Donald Trump makes most of us want to run in the other direction, Patrick Stewart has applied for US citizenship so he can “fight” Trump.

The X-Men actor explained on ABC’s The View that he wants to be an American. He said:

You know, we have our own problems. We have Brexit. But I'm not a (US) citizen. However, there is, maybe it's the only good thing as the result of this election, I am now applying for citizenship. Because I want to be an American, too.

All of my friends in Washington said, 'There is one thing you can do. Fight, fight, oppose, oppose'
