With the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, stars Zendaya and Tom Holland have been doing the media rounds to promote the film - and fans are obsessed the “flirting” that has happened between them in their interviews.
Perhaps this is due to the fact the pair were caused hysteria on the internet earlier this year when they were photographed kissing outside of their roles as Spider-Man and MJ. Although this appeared to suggest they were in a relationship, neither actor has publicly addressed the dating or have said they’re together.
In one clip from an interview with Cinema Blend, Zendaya, Holland and their co-star Jacob Batalon (who plays Ned in the franchise) were asked if they were to recreate a scene from one of the previous franchises, then what scene would they choose.
“That’s a great question,” Holland said, as Zendaya grinned at him and replied: “You already said yours the other day.”
“Did I?” asked Holland as Zendaya giggled while he asked her what his previous answer was.
“I don’t know maybe you changed your mind,” she teasingly joked.
“Oh I know what it is, I know what it is, that’s messed up if you don’t remember,” Batalon chimed in as Holland asked Zendaya to whisper what she thought in his ear while she laughed.
“Oh I know what it is!” Holland said as the penny dropped, “Yeah I want to do the upside down making out scene in the rain right now...” Referring to the moment where he as Spider-Man makes out with Zendaya’s character MJ.
“Jacob, let’s go. Let’s do it,” Holland quipped as Zendaya added: “Harness up Jacob, you two have fun.”

During another press junket with GameSpot Universe, the three stars were asked “Who would you rather be stuck in an elevator with?”
While Zendaya chose Doctor Octopus, with his tentacles being able to get you out “pretty easy,” Holland argued he would “take up a lot of space” and wouldn’t be able to get rescue anyone as the elevator was made of vibranium.
“I don’t think that it is,” Zendaya told Holland, who replied: “How do you know we haven’t just stopped off in Wakanda for a week? We went there for a nice weekend away to Wakanda and we’re stuck in an elevator,” as he then gave his co-star a sassy stare to which she returned back to him.
At the Hollywood premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland gushed about Zendaya to U.S. TV show Extra.
“She’s one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. And I love her to bits. So to be here tonight is amazing. I’m delighted to share it with her.”
People have been sharing their love for Zendaya and Holland’s flirting, and some fans have made cute edits of the pair on Twitter and TikTok.
