Turns out that no matter how famous or rich you are, your parents will always find new ways to embarrass you.

Whether they are hilariously mocking your selfies or telling the most cringe-worthy jokes imaginable there seems to be no end to their torture methods.

Even Queen B, Beyoncé, suffers from this humiliation from time to time and it's all down to her mother's social media presence.

Tina Knowles Lawson has a great and highly uplifting Instagram account, which is all about spreading good will and cheer.

Here are a few of her finest recent contributions to the internet.

Her posts, which are nearly always videos, are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Here's her Tina Turner inspired Halloween costume.

However, Tina and her husband Richard have revealed in an interview that the 63-year-old's social media game is just a little too much to handle for her superstar daughter and the rest of their family.

Speaking to Entertainment WeeklyTina said:

After my kids were grown and I reconnected with Richard he was like 'Tina why are you hiding all the time? It's time for you to live your own life.'

It's true and  if my kids had their way, I wouldn't be on Instagram. I wouldn't be on any social media.

To which Richard added:

They're just afraid.

From time to time, she will do that foot-in-the-mouth thing.

And it will be completely embarrassing and she'll step out...and then you'll get that phone call: 'Mom.'

This mostly stems from the fact that Tina often accidentally live streams herself...

Fortunately, Tina has a very refreshing take on it.

I make mistakes but I'm just real about it.

That's what 60-year-old moms do. They make mistakes on social media.

So, everyone can relate to that because they are like 'my mom does the same thing.'

Watch the full interview below, where they also reveal a little more about Beyoncé and Jay-Z's baby twins Sir and Rumi.
