A woman from one of South Yorkshire’s flood-hit communities has given her brutally honest opinion of Boris Johnson.
The prime minister finally visited the region yesterday, six days after flooding began wrecking havoc to homes and businesses.
However, the usually-talkative Johnson hasn’t been doing many interviews with journalists in the area so ITV decided to surprise him in the town of Stainforth.
He didn’t look too pleased to see ITV’s Joe Pike…

But it wasn’t just the Tory leader who left the meeting unhappy.
Julia Keegan, who runs the community centre Johnson visited, was left deeply unimpressed by the prime minister.
When ITV News asked for her thoughts on the Conservative leader, she replied:
Do you want the truth? … A***hole.
And as for Johnson’s supposed ability to connect with normal people, Keegan was unconvinced that the PM understood the concerns of people in Stainforth.
She added:
No, he doesn’t understand anything. He’s just come to show his face.
That’s definitely not the response Johnson was hoping for…
The clip is the latest edition in the popular series “Boris Johnson vs the people of Yorkshire”, which includes hits such as:
