Donald Trump posed with the White House interns and people have noticed a big problem

The White House has released a photo of its newest batch of interns.

It shows President Donald Trump posing with the spring intake, and people have noticed something about the photo:

The interns are predominantly white.

There appears to be only one or two people of colour in the photograph above.

People quickly picked up on the lack of diversity:

Others pointed out the demography of the country

The US Census Bureau estimates that around three-fifths of the population is non-Hispanic white, however the photograph shows that the vast majority of the interns are.

Others have pointed out that unfortunately the lack of diversity was business as usual, comparing photographs from earlier years.
