Mueller report: Donald Trump is having a Twitter meltdown about being impeached – here are the best reactions

Donald Trump is having another meltdown over the Mueller report.

In a morning rant, the president lashed out at Democratic leaders who have refused to rule out impeaching him.

The heavily-redacted Mueller report has highlighted potential evidence that Trump attempted to obstruct justice and stop the investigation into Russian interference and his 2016 presidential campaign.

In the tweet, he also repeated a baseless claim that it was the Democratic Party who had “committed crimes”.

Whilst it is true that the Mueller report did not show the Trump campaign purposefully worked with Russia to win the election - it did find various links with Russia, alongside various attempts from Trump to apparently derail the Special Counsel's investigation.

The report concluded that it could neither exonerate or completely accuse Trump of obstruction of justice or Russian collusion. In fact it explicitly refuses to clear him on numbers occasions throughout.

Mueller wrote:

While this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.

Critics were quick to jump on Trump’s tweet.

And how about another reminder of how Trump reacted to the news that Robert Mueller would be running the investigation into him...

The report read:

According to notes written by Hunt [Jeff Sessions’ chief of staff Jody Hunt], when Sessions told the President that a Special Counsel had been appointed, the President slumped back in his chair and said, “Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I’m f***ed.”

The President became angry and lambasted the Attorney General for his decision to recuse from the investigation, stating, “How could you let this happen, Jeff?"
