In case you missed it, Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out in cinemas this month.
In case you also missed it, there was another Democrat debate.
And in case you also, also missed it, Hillary Clinton signed off her closing speech in the aforementioned Democrat debate with a quote from (you guessed it) Star Wars.
Why? Because politics is all about being relatable to the average Jedi, or something like that.
On January 20 2017 the next president of the United States will walk in to the White House. If, heaven forbid, that next president is a Republican I think it's pretty clear we know what will happen.
A lot of the rights that have been won over the years from women's rights to voter's rights, to gay rights to worker rights will be at risk...
Planned parenthood will be de-funded. This list goes on because the differences are so stark.
Everybody says every election is important... this is a watershed election. I know how important it is that we have a Democrat succeed president Obama in the White House... I became a grandmother recently... and I want to make sure every single child has a chance to live up to his or her God given potential.

Speaking to Yahoo News following the debate, Clinton campaign manager John Podesta admitted that his charge had yet to see the new Star Wars movie.
