Matt Hancock roasted for stating the most glaringly obvious thing about the election

Out of all the candidates running in the general election, Matt Hancock's social media output is by far the strangest.

The Tory and current health secretary has been up to all sorts during the campaign from imitating Alan Partridge to sporting a new 'haircut.'

However, during Friday night's final election debate between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn, he came up with his most astute and observed point to date.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote:

Very clear from the opening and first answers:

This is a choice between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn.

Cor blimey. What a stunning piece of insight this is.

That's right he's finally figured out that the two men on the stage on Friday are the only two men that can become prime minister next week.

This incredible insight from Hancock saw a lot of people 'thank' him for spelling out to people what the options are in this election because, up until now, everyone was very confused.

I think we can all agree that this is a stunning addition to the Hancock playbook.

Regardless of what happens in the election, we can only hope and pray that he continues to offers these pearls of wisdom long into the future.
