Twitter users are celebrating National Boss Day by praising Nancy Pelosi after a photo of her standing up to Trump went viral.

The House Speaker got props online after the Democrat literally stood up to the US president with her finger pointed right at him.

The confrontation happened to occur on an especially auspicious day: National Boss Day.

Donald Trump, probably not realising that he was accidentally elevating his rival, posted the photo himself on Twitter, captioning it:

It had the opposite affect on people online, who took it as an opportunity to celebrate the House Speaker.
