One of the biggest talking points of the third and final presidential debate was the moment Donald Trump interrupted Hillary Clinton to call her a "nasty woman".

The incident has been much derided on social media, with many pointing out that his insult came shortly after his insistence that "nobody respects women more" than him.

Female voters in the US swiftly began changing their Twitter names to variations on the insult, while Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, reported the following:

Unfortunately for Trump, the insult has been turned around and a new, unofficial slogan has emerged for Clinton's campaign: 'Nasty women get shit done.'

Within hours, someone had registered the web address and ensured it redirected to Clinton's own website, encouraging people to vote for her.
