In his first major sit-down interview since leaving office, former President Donald Trump spoke with Sean Hannity for an exclusive interview - and judging from Hannity’s wonderstruck expression, it would seem the Fox News host is still smitten.

Hannity kicked off the with a few “hard-hitting” questions, most of which included a series of compliments that seemed so ludicrous, one had to wonder if sarcasm was the culprit.

“I know a lot of people that are around you every day. This is what they’re all telling me: You are working as hard as you did when you were in the White House, except you play a little golf more,” Hannity said.

Trump played 261 rounds of golf during his four years in office, according to an estimate from The Washington Post.

It’s nice to know American tax dollars were being spent wisely...

Hannity’s praise continued, as he commented on Trump’s “insane” schedule since leaving office.

“You are keeping an insane schedule, seven days a week. You really don’t stop!” Hannity said.

Right, because we all know how tiresome a few rounds of golf can be.

In addition to his incessant flattery, Hannity mentioned the possibility of Trump running for office in 2024.

“Are you running again in 2024? What are the odds?” Hannity asked.

“I say this, I am looking at it very seriously - beyond seriously,” Trump responded.
