In the case of Sepp Blatter, revenge may be a dish best served papery and green.
British comedian Simon Brodkin - better known by his stage name Lee Nelson - stormed a news conference in Zurich with the outgoing president of Fifa on Monday, approaching the stage while Blatter was speaking and showering bills over "the Swiss demon who ruined football", as John Oliver lovingly refers to him.
Nelson presented Blatter with a wad of (probably fake) banknotes, saying, "Sepp, this is for North Korea in 2026."
Blatter could be heard asking "Where is my security, where is my security?" as Nelson proceeded to make it rain Monopoly money.
"It's all there!" Nelson shouts as he's carried away by security guards.
The news conference was being held to announce that the presidential elections to replace Blatter will take place in February 2016.
Evidently that date can't come soon enough for some.
