The 5 questions people most regret never asking

Michael McQueen's father died suddenly in 2004, when he was just 22.

The Sydney-based author has now created an online tool, Histography, which aims to help people tell their stories and pass them on to the next generation so they aren't left with regrets about what they did not ask their loved ones before it was too late.

While researching the site, he found the top 5 questions people regret not asking. Here they are, in full:

  1. What is your greatest regret?
  2. What were your hopes and dreams as a child?
  3. What would you like to see change in the world over the next ten years?
  4. What was the most rebellious thing you did as a young person?
  5. What can you remember about your first kiss?

"It’s not just about memories but passing on some of the wisdom you've learned as well as a parent," McQueen told the Daily Mail.
