Thousands marched through the streets of London on Saturday to protest the result of the EU referendum to Leave.

People gathered at Park Lane at 11am, marching towards Parliament Square on 2 July.

The protest was organised via social media, using #MarchForEurope and Facebook event in which 34,000 profiles registered interest.

They brought a range of banners, masks, signs and costumes to display their wish to remain in the EU, as well as their disdain for the Leave campaign.
