Zwier Spanjer bought a shiny new drone recently and had casually been flying it around his neighbourhood for most of the day as he learned to master the controls.
Suddenly the DJI phantom 2 began to lose altitude. "Oh no. The batteries have run out and it's headed straight for that lake over there," we imagine he said.
But Mr Spanjer, absolutely determined not to let his new toy get wet, decided to jump in the lake and save it. Although he probably wasn't expecting the lake to be shoulder-depth.
