Trump caught laughing at ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chant at baseball game

A clip of Donald Trump laughing at an anti-Joe Biden chant sung at a baseball game he attended has gone viral.

Over the weekend, former President Trump and his wife Melania attended the baseball World Series Game 4 played between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves.

During the game, a group of fans seated near to where Trump was sitting began chanting the words “Let’s go Brandon” as Trump listened and was seen chuckling to himself, in the footage captured by a spectator.

The clip was posted by TikTok user @pianoman196 who appeared to be in the crowd at the time and recorded the interaction between Trump and the chanting fans.

“Let’s go Brandon” is an anti-Biden chant that came about last month thanks to an error made by a sports commentator.

When NASCAR driver Brandon Brown won the Xfinity Series in Alabama last month a group of fans began chanting “F**k Joe Biden” while he was being interviewed on live television. The interviewer, Kelli Stavas, mistook the chant for support for Brandon, saying: “As you can hear the chants from the crowd – ‘Let’s go, Brandon’.”

Since then, the words “Let’s go Brandon” have been used in place as the “clean” version of the Biden chant.

The clip of Trump laughing at the chant during the baseball game at Truist Park in Atlanta has been viewed over 6.3 million times.

Both Melania and Trump were also seen performing the controversial “Tomahawk chop” with the Atlanta Braves fans – a sports celebration gesture that has been accused of being disrespectful towards Native American culture.
