Trump suggested 'making daylight saving time permanent' and people don't know what to think

Donald Trump's Twitter page could be considered a cautionary tale to think before you tweet at best, and the ravings of a mad man at worst.

Take for example one of his latest tweets about daylight savings:

Now, to clarify, daylight saving time is already permanent, insofar as it happens every year.

It seems likely that Trump is referring to the act that is the biannual clock change between standard time to daylight saving time.

Regardless, people seem to think that this would in some way force it to be sunny, but that's not quite how the weather works.

It's an idea that been gaining traction as many across the nation considering eliminating the entire practice of changing the clocks, as it's seen as confusing and ineffective.

It's certainly going to take some time, but it looks like Trump wants to make sunlight great again.
