A 35-year-old man in America has been arrested after allegedly posting a video of his ex-wife on a revenge porn website.

Jorge Luis Latorre, from San Antonio, Texas is said to have secretly recorded an intimate video chat between himself and his ex-partner, where the woman was topless.

During their divorce, which took place in 2016, Lattore's victim learned that he was already married to another woman which led to the proceedings becoming an annulment.

My San Antonio report that an arrest affidavit states:

The divorce proceedings transitioned into annulment proceedings at that point, and [Latorre] reacted in anger towards [the victim] for revealing that fact in divorce court.

It retaliation to this revelation, Lattore allegedly uploaded the video, which is said to have been filmed in 2013, to the free porn streaming website YouPorn.

The affidavit goes on to explain that the video was posted after a "pattern of behaviour" began to develop from Lattore who had threatened to "punish" the woman.

[These include] threats to have [the victim's] clearance level removed or reduced at her military assignment, attempts to covertly assume her G.I. Bill benefits claiming to be her husband after their divorce and changing passwords to financial, cell phone and email accounts, locking [her] out of her own accounts.

The twist in this tale comes courtesy of Lattore's other wife, who reportedly discovered the video earlier this year and decided to inform his ex about its existence.

Detectives then acquired evidence by taking screenshots of the video and eventually gained a warrant for his arrest.

He was taken into custody on Thursday on charges of unlawful disclosure of intimate material.

Should he be found guilty he will be facing a Class A misdemeanour, which could equate to one year behind bars and a $4,000 fine.

Revenge porn has been illegal in the state of Texas since September 2015.
