We all know what it’s like when we’re under pressure. It’s easy to slip up on an interview question, forget your flip flops in a mad dash to the airport or, you know, confuse Paris for a country.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to student Sarah.
Sarah was a contestant on Pointless, along with her friend Miriam, and was asked to name a country that ended in two consonants.
She could have gone for Italy, Iceland, Germany or Sicily, to name but a few.
But Sarah’s mind went blank, and she answered:
Paris.
Sarah did A-level geography.
Paris is a city.
Paris does not end in two consonants.
But that’s not even the best bit.
Miriam shot Sarah the look of doom.
