Taylor Swift managed to hit back at Kanye's misogyny without even mentioning his name

Taylor Swift managed to shut down Kanye West's recent implication that he is the only reason she is famous without mentioning his name once during her acceptance speech at the Grammys.

Taylor made history as she became the first woman ever to win Best Album twice, and no matter how you feel about her music or her girl squad this achievement should be celebrated.

She made it to the top, a man did not put her there.

Kanye has suggested he set Taylor on the path to fame when he interrupted her at the VMAs in 2009. The track Famous, from his new album 'The Life Of Pablo', includes the lyrics: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous."

This is what she thinks about that...

As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I wanna say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.

The end.
