Why Beyonce's new album wasn't a surprise if you were paying attention

So if you haven't been under a rock/duvet/tent fort all weekend, you'll know that Beyoncé released her new album Lemonade in a surprise premiere on Saturday night.

Fans have been thirsty since Bey released 'Formation' right before the Superbowl - and Lemonade doesn't disappoint. The theme of the album appears to be 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade', and it's a visual masterpiece paying tribute to America's black women.

It turns out, though, that Beyoncé actually dropped quite a big hint about what was coming via some Instagram posts last September:

She even posted a picture of the stuff.
