Manchester United’s Daniel James hilariously given mascot as big as he is

Manchester United fans were amused on Thursday night to discover Daniel James was given a mascot of roughly the same height as the winger.

United were in the Netherlands to take on AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League and there was little else to laugh about as Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side failed to register a single shot on target.

The 0-0 draw will not live long in the memory but the sight of a player and mascot of roughly the same height, presumably a deliberate ploy from the hosts, will be etched in the minds of all who were lucky enough to witness it.
