They say politics is a bruising business - but some politicians take that more literally than others.

Andrew Gwynne, Labour’s election coordinator just got shoved – literally – live on Sky News, by none other than Boris Johnson.

The pair were in Sky News' spin room, warming up for the BBC's election question time programme feturing Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn.

While Johnson was talking to the camera, Gwynne decided to contribute, mentioning that the Foreign Secretary should take him on head-to-head.

Johnson then invited him on camera to discuss the issues, and called Gwynne a “big girl's blouse” in the process.

The pair then seemed to have a bit of a bizarre tussle where Gwynne was almost knocked flying by Mr Johnson.

Luckily, in a show of absolute sass, Gwynne responded by calling Johnson a "pillock".

So now you know the answer to the question: What does a Japanese rugby playing school boy and Andrew Gwynne have in common?
