Nowadays, lots of people are intensely divided along political lines.
But there was a time when this wasn’t the case. When we look back at TV from the past, many shows exist in a vacuum, with the political views of main characters seldom known.
But a new meme is addressing this gap in our knowledge.
People have been sharing how they think various TV characters would have voted in the EU referendum.
It all started when Michael Glasper imagined how characters on sitcom Fawlty Towers would have voted in the EU referendum, but quickly spread to other shows.
