For some reason Brian Blessed was only just asked for his opinion on Donald Trump

Brian Blessed has delivered his own damning verdict of Donald Trump in the most Brian Blessed way possible.

Speaking to ITV News after accepting an OBE for services to art and charity at Windsor Castle, he said he despaired that America had, despite producing so many "brilliant people", had turned to Trump as a potential leader.

America's full of such brilliant people - brilliant professors, brilliant scientists - but you have an appalling, gormless, tasteless individual like Trump, who really [fart noise] is that, isn't he? An appalling creature. What the hell are the doing with him? He's a total, complete utter moron.

The reporter also asked Blessed: "If you could bellow something at him what would it be?"

Trump has been caught up in yet more controversy after the revelation over a recording of him making lewd sexual comments about women in 2005.

With 'Access Hollywood's' then-host, Billy Bush, Trump is heard describing in crude terms his unseccessful attempt to seduce a married woman, and bragging that his "star" status enabled him to grope women without repercussions.
