Sandra Bullock reveals an incredibly sweet gesture that Keanu Reeves made for her 25 years ago

Sandra Bullock first met Keanu Reeves on the set of Speed back in 1994 – and the pair have since been friends ever since.

In a new Esquire profile about the John Wick star, Bullock opened up about a sweet gesture from 25 years ago – proving, yet again, that Reeves could very well be the nicest man on the planet.

While the pair were hanging out in the earlier years of their friendship, Bullock, 57, mentioned that she had never tried the Champagne and truffle combination.

A few days later, when Bullock was at home with a friend painting their nails, Reeves pulled up on his motorcycle equipped with flowers, Champagne and truffles.

“I just thought you might want to try Champagne and truffles, to see what it’s like,” he told Bullock, according to the news outlet.

“He sat on the couch. Bullock poured some Champagne, and they opened the truffles,

“Keanu put his hands out, without a word, and Bullock painted his nails black, same as hers.”

Bullock has always denied that the pair had ever dated, telling Esquire that she wouldn’t have wanted to ruin such a great friendship.

“But who knows? Keanu’s a guy who, I feel like, is friends with every woman he’s ever dated,” she said. “I don’t think there’s anyone who has something horrible to say about him. So maybe we could have survived. I don’t know.

“But we didn’t have to survive anything. We just get to grow up together on parallel roads and tip our hats and meet for a dinner and try to work together.

“And the longer time goes on, the more in awe I am of the human being. Would I have been able to say that if he had dumped me and made me angry? Probably not.”

Reeves is currently dating artist Alexandra Grant and prepping for the release of the fourth John Wick film next year, and The Matrix Resurrections in December.
