Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio treated himself to a new firearm for Christmas.

Y'know, just in case Isis drop by for a "visit".

Speaking to CBS News the Senator for Florida and Second Amendment fan said he has a right to protect his family.

I think many Americans around the country feel the same way. I'm a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, I have a right to protect my family if someone were to come after us.

In fact if Isis were to visit us or our communities at any moment the last line of defence between Isis and my family is the ability that I have to protect my family from them or a criminal or anyone else that seeks to do us harm.

He signed off his monologue with: "Millions of Americans feel that way." Because that's not completely terrifiying.
