The one word that Donald Trump cannot stop saying this week is not 'coronavirus' but 'Obamagate'.
This, potential distraction ploy by the president, is a conspiracy theory that Barack Obama attempted to sabotage Trump's 2016 campaign and somehow engineered the investigation into's Trump's alleged dealings with Russia.
Just a brief glimpse over the president's Twitter feed in the past few weeks reveals that he is completely obsessed with this theory and wants everyone to know about it.
It's almost gone beyond parody at this point and he is now just tweeting the word on its own, with no context whatsoever.
Curiously the man that Trump thinks has committed a crime also posted a cryptic one-word tweet of his own on Thursday.
Vote.— Barack Obama (@Barack Obama) 1589481896
This is unquestionably the more presidential of the tweets but it was hardly much a contest, was it?
Immediately people began to compare the two tweets, with many astonished at the volume at which Obama's spoke.

This is the most we've heard from Obama on the so-called 'Obamagate' and to be honest, we hope it stays that way.
