Evangeline Lilly just ended male actors who moan about wearing superhero outfits

Spandex and capes are staple uniform attire for superheroes.

Think about it – Superman has his skin tight suit, Spider-Man has his body suit as well; even Deadpool, the quintessential anti-hero has to squeeze into one. It must be all sorts of uncomfortable, chafing must be a thing and spandex probably rides up into places it shouldn’t.

Well, actress Evangeline Lilly, who picked up the role of the Wasp in the upcoming Ant Man sequel, wants men to stop whining.

The actress told BackstageOL's Dave Morales:

I have been hearing Marvel male superheroes complain about their suits for years and I got into my suit and I was wearing it, and you know working in it and doing my thing and I was like ‘it’s just not that bad’.

Do I have the most comfortable suit in the MCU?

Or, have men not had the life experience of being uncomfortable for the sake of looking good and they’re just like ‘what is this? This sucks! Why are we- why – why do we have to go through this?’

Whereas a woman’s like ‘I don’t know. It’s normal. I wear heels to work, I’m uncomfortable all day – you get used to it, you tune it out.

Morales was so impressed by her he immediately professed his love.

Not surprised tbh...

People online are inclined to agree with her...
