Do you know someone, anyone, who hasn't read, watched or heard of the Harry Potter series?
No, we thought not. The fantasy series about witches, wizards, muggles, broomsticks, wands and beyond has literally captured the imaginations of a generation.
Not surprisingly, it's also done exceptionally well at the box office. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone alone grossed a whopping $974.8 million, and there are eight movies in the franchise in total.
On top of that, there are also the phenomenally successful Fantastic Beasts spin-off movies, too. The first in the franchise was released in 2016, and there are still two more in the pipeline, with one set to hit cinemas in November this year.
Off the back of such world-wide acclaim, one Reddit user has made a very good point.
Inevitably, at some point, there is going to be a re-make.
Yep - let's just let that sink in, depressing as it is.

One day there is going to be a reboot of the Harry Potter movies, and an entire generation of us is going to hate everything about it.
First the prequels, sequels, spin-offs, then the remake.
Queue fervent speculation about characters in a remake.
Some remained optimistic.
While others got emotional thinking about their favourite characters being replaced.
Touch anything, but don't touch the theme song!
Some were keen for a TV series-style reboot.
Whatever happens, there is consensus that it probably won't be as good as the original. Brace yourselves for 'Harry Potter: The Cartoon'.
