Stormy Daniels has a message for Donald Trump:
Her statement of relish comes after months of back and forth with Donald Trump’s team about her alleged affair with the US president years before.
Michael Cohen, his former attorney, recently pleaded guilty to eight counts at a federal court.
He said he arranged a $130,000 payment to Daniels and another to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, and told a US judge under oath that he had done so "for the principle purpose of influencing the election’ in Trump’s favour".
He also pleaded guilty to tax evasion and bank fraud.
Daniels also took the opportunity to thank her lawyer, Michael Avenatti. The lawyer had announced his intention to end Trump’s presidency and is flirting with the idea of running for the White House in 2020.
“We should all take a moment and applaud the tremendous courage and fortitude of @StormyDaniels, who has refused to be silent, who has refused to back down, and who has allowed facts to be presented in the court of public opinion, which some may argue is the most efficient,” Avenatti responded.
