Oh London, you miserable city.
We all know the stereotype – that Londoners are rude, unfriendly and arrogant.
The recent #tube_chat campaign which encouraged people to talk to one another on the train, went down about as well as you’d expect.
Clue? A lot of people hated it.
Now, a recent YouGov survey seems to confirm London’s unfriendly attitude.

Londoners are the most uncomfortable about making small talk with strangers, with 27 per cent expressing their dislike.
Those living in the North are the least bothered, at 15 per cent, and unfriendly Scots are also in the minority, with 18 per cent.
