There's a selfie-based horror that will make you put down Snapchat forever

A video that turns selfie-taking into a short horror movie has emerged, and it’s absolutely terrifying.

The spooky video, titled ‘Selfie from Hell’ by the YouTube channel ‘F* you Zombie’, has reemerged after its initial uploading in August, to scare everyone who's ever used a front-facing smartphone camera.

In the same way that horrors can play off the idea that someone’s following you, the premise features a sinister figure getting closer in selfies, only seen in the screen.

It’s absolutely terrifying and will stop your late-night snapchats for a while we think.

The channel specialises, as you may have guessed from the name, in horror shorts. If their first two entries are anything to go by, they're worth keeping an eye on - if you don't want to sleep that is.
