Scottish Tory leader Ruth Davidson has had a good month: not only did she lead the party to their best local elections results in 60 years, she's also announced she's getting married.
Davidson spent the weekend in Paris with her partner of 10 years, Jen Wilson - and happily, Wilson said yes when Davidson popped the question.
Congratulations have poured in from First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale and the prime minister, as well as from outside the political arena.
What's notable about all the replies and retweets of Davidson's post, however, is that despite the fact that:
a) she's a woman on the internet
b) she's a Tory on the internet
c) she's gay
...we can't see a single negative reply.
We're sure there must be a snarky or abusive comment in there somewhere - but still.
Who knew the internet could actually be a nice place sometimes?
