This video shows 100 years of typical estimations of what it means to be beautiful, for women, in one minute.
Through hairstyles and make-up, model Nina Carduner is transformed decade by decade from 1910 to 2010, taking in the flapper look to the 1940s pinup, and the 1960s bombshell to the more relaxed tones of recent decades.
Mike Gaston, the creative director of Cut Video, which produced the short film, said: "We plucked out ten iconic hairstyles and makeup looks over the course of 100 years.
"Our goal is to do this with many different models and show how our concept of beauty has evolved."
