Watch this reporter roar like Chewbacca while talking about Carrie Fisher’s death

The world is mourning the deaths of Carrie Fisher, who passed away aged 60 and her mother Debbie Reynolds, who died a day later aged 84.

Fisher’s portrayal of Princess Leia in the Star Wars films made the role what it was, and fans all over the world are struggling to cope with her passing.

Tributes have been pouring in from every corner of the globe, with a great many celebrating her outspoken attitude towards mental health, representation of women and their treatment by Hollywood.

One tribute in particular though, caught our eye.

Brazilian journalist Jorge Pontual, speaking on GloboNewscouldn't help one last roar - as it were - in memory of the late actor.

Chewbacca style.

According to Mediaite, he said:

Many people telling how much they loved Carrie Fisher, many celebrities remarking on this loss. But the most emotional reaction was from Chewbacca, that Star Wars character.

Then, he roared.

The remaining journalists lost their collective minds, and though they tried to remain serious, they couldn’t stop laughing.

Amidst all the giggling, Pontual remained stoic:
