It’s rare for Piers Morgan to be taken aback by an interaction, but Derek Chisora’s recent comments on Piers Morgan Uncensored had the broadcaster raising an eyebrow, even letting out a surprised: "Are you winding me up?"
Ahead of the highly anticipated Chisora vs. Wilder fight on Saturday (4 April) at the O2 Arena, the fighters sat down with Morgan to discuss everything from their upbringings to Wilder’s TMI details on how his daughter was conceived.
But the conversation quickly turned to Chisora’s love for fighting – or "a scrap," as he put it.
The British boxer started by taking a dig at Americans, saying they don’t know how to fight, "they have to bring guns out". But he quickly revealed his own approach to confrontation: "I love a scrap."
"I will go out looking for a scrap," he admitted, prompting Morgan to quip: "Are you winding me up?"
"I will go out looking for a scrap because I want one," Chisora doubled down.

Chisora then recounted a moment over lunch with his wife when a group of male fans appeared.
"I just got up, and I was ready to swing," he shared, though he added that his wife reassured them they were just fans.
When Morgan asked why he wanted to "attack" them, Chisora didn’t hold back: "Because I like to swing!" And when reminded they were just innocent people, Chisora stated bluntly: "I don't give a f***."
Morgan then asked whether he himself should be concerned for his safety.
"If you talk s***, then yes," Chisora replied, later clarifying he was joking.
Earlier in the episode, Chisora also called Morgan a "c**t," explaining: "Because you're just being one, you are one." He soon shared he was joking mood again: "I like you, you're fine."
If the fight proves even half as chaotic as their recent interview, boxing fans are seemingly in for a treat.
