Got a doppelgänger?

What about if you share looks but not political beliefs? Or host rival shows?

A new Fox News presenter has sparked a frenzy on social media after viewers noted he bears a striking resemblance to CNN's Anderson Cooper.

Former Republican congressman Trey Gowdy is hosting a new show on the network and audiences are pointing out certain similarities to the CNN stalwart, such as his hair colour and glasses.

That might be where they end though with the anchors working for two rival channels, and Cooper previously slamming Donald Trump’s response to the 2020 election result.

Gowdy was briefly dropped as a Fox News contributor after reports he was joining the former president’s legal team during the impeachment inquiry.

He represented South Carolina's Fourth Congressional District between 2011 and 2019.

Gowdy first joined Fox News as a contributor at the start of 2019 and also hosts a self-titled podcast on Fox News Audio.

Social media users joked about his likeness to Cooper.

Do you have a spitting image out there?
