Former White House official, Stephanie Grisham, is set to release a tell-all memoir, I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in The Trump White House.
And in a collection of excerpts shown to The Washington Post before the release date, Grisham made some explosive claims that Melania Trump’s relationship with Donald Trump became increasingly rocky after the constant scandal and controversy.
According to Grisham, Melania opted to stay out of the limelight, but the revelation of the former president’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels “unleashed” the former first lady and prompted her to publicly embarrass and contradict her husband.
According to the publication, during her first State of the Union, Melania attended arm-in-arm with a handsome military aide “because the Capitol floors were too slippery.”
“I laughed to myself because I’d seen the woman navigate dirt roads in her heels,” Grisham allegedly wrote.
Melania also reportedly had Grisham draft a tweet in a bid for privacy. The tweet initially explained that she wanted to concentrate on being a mother, wife and first lady – to which she allegedly had Grisham remove the word “wife.”
In another excerpt of the book, Grisham claimed that Melania did not believe her husband’s denial of his affair and responded to the situation with: “This is Donald’s problem. He got himself into this mess. He can fix it by himself.”
She also reportedly slept through election night and objected to the White House party, fearing a potential Covid outbreak in her home.
In 2018, Melania donned the infamous “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket on a visit to the US southern border after she was reportedly “upset by the situation her husband’s immigration policies had caused and wanted to see it for herself.”

According to Grisham, Trump later summoned his wife to the Oval Office.
“It was the first time he’d ever summoned her in such a way in front of staff. He yelled and asked “what the [expletive]” they thought they were doing. Then just as quickly he came up with a solution. He would tweet out that the jacket was a message to the Fake News Media”, Grisham wrote.
“It’s the story that the first lady repeated four months later in her first and only televised interview during the administration.”
Melania’s office has previously called Grisham’s upcoming tell-all “an attempt to redeem herself after a poor performance as press secretary, failed personal relationships, and unprofessional behavior in the White House.”
“Through mistruth and betrayal, she seeks to gain relevance and money at the expense of Mrs. Trump.”
