A TikToker known by many as “Timbo the Redneck” was killed while attempting a stunt with his truck on Saturday, his family have said.

The 18-year-old from Florida whose real name was Timothy Hall died after doing doughnuts in his pick-up truck that caused him to be launched from his vehicle which then flipped over and landed on top of him.

Doughnuts are when a driver does a manoeuvre where they accelerate while driving in a tight circle.

“I don’t even know how to start this,” said Tony, Timbo’s brother-in-law-to-be in a YouTube video to tell his followers what happened.

“He passed away,” Tony explained. “He was doing doughnuts with his girlfriend and the truck just flipped over and he flew out the driver’s side window and the truck landed on top of him.”

Timbo’s followers would have known the TikToker from his “redneck” lifestyle content, vaping, and being a Trump supporter.

His mother posted a video on his TikTok account to inform his 210,000 followers that her son had tragically passed away.

“He won’t be making any more videos, no more videos at all. My son was in a bad accident yesterday and didn’t make it,” she said.

“He loved TikTok and just believed in all the fans and everybody that supported him and it meant a lot to him. Sometimes he wouldn’t listen to me, he’d say, ‘I gotta do this TikTok!’”

She added: “I want to thank y’all for all the fans that he had, and my heart is just so broken.”

A GoFundMe page has been created to raise money for Timbo’s funeral expenses and more than $9,000 has been raised so far.
