General elections are never easy on anyone, especially those in the media, who have to try and keep up with virtually everything that is going on, which can sometimes lead to mistakes.
Although not everyone is a fan of journalists (perhaps understandably...) we should perhaps spare a thought for ITV's Tom Bradby who looked like a broken man in the small hours of Friday morning.
After handing over the reins to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain,Bradby - seemingly not realising that he was still on the air (at least on the webstream) - slumped back in his chair and let out a huge sigh.
oh my god @tombradby thought their show had finished when it hadn't. what an iconic ending. https://t.co/FT6ytihWZw— Scott Bryan (@Scott Bryan) 1576217501
Presumably, the 52-year-old was either completely exhausted, having worked all night, or was left exasperated by the results.
Either way, his expression literally sums up the feeling of a large portion of the nation today as we face another five years of a Tory government and the uncertainty of Brexit.
A clip of Bradby has been viewed more than 15,000 times on Twitter and everyone can definitely relate.
