Should waitresses be gossiping about customers?

The answer to the question has TikTokers split after a video went viral of two women confronting a waiter when she caught them gossiping about their date with their sugar daddy.

In the video shared by @jualreadykn0w, the two women shared that they were dining out when when they overheard the waiter and a hostess “talking smack about us being out with our sugar daddy.”

The TikTok user shared that the other woman in the video refused to stay silent and soon after confronted the waiter when he returned to their table.

“By the way, that’s my sug@r d@ddy not my uncle or my dad or anything since you guys are so curious over there,” read the text overlay of what the user apparently told the waitress.

Then, the TikTok claimed that the waiter gave the two women a free dessert in an effort to apologize.
