The relationship between India and Pakistan is notoriously tense.

Last year, Indian authorities intercepted what they claimed to be a ‘spy’ pigeon from Pakistan, even going as far as “arresting” the bird and clipping its wings.

But it seems the animal warfare is continuing. Indian media has now made the rather 'shocking-if-true' claim that Pakistan’s secret service is sending suicide dogs into the country to commit terrorist acts.

Presumably, this means innocent pooches with bombs strapped to them.

There appears to be little additional evidence to back up the claims, and the on-going war of words between the two bordering nations is nothing new.

But still, think of those poor dogs!
