Taylor Swift announces six-episode documentary series The End of an Era
Disney+
If there's one thing Taylor Swift loves, it's leaving Easter eggs for Swifties to discover in her work - and there's plenty of them in her latest project.
In fact, the music video for her lead single, 'The Fate of Ophelia' from her album The Life of a Showgirl, has a treasure trove of them, and fans are having a field day picking out the ones they spot.
Here are the Easter eggs they've found so far:
Ophelia painting
At the very start of the music video, Swift appears to have taken inspiration from Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor Heyser's 1900 painting, Ophelia, where a woman lies lifelessly in the water..
Symbolic animals and objects

In one of the shots near the beginning of the video, Swift poses with a scenic landscape painting behind her, but it's the objects surrounding her that Swifties are paying attention to.
Firstly, the statue in the right corner is of Swift's cat Olivia Benson. As for the orange bird, we see this again at the end of the video when Swift enters the bathroom it flies away.
Some fans think the orange bird is in reference to the 'Look What You Made Me Do' video Taylor is inside a cage wearing an orange dress - like a bird in a cage. But since then, she has reached new heights in her career and bought back her master's, so the bird flying away in this latest music video represents Swift feeling free.
The table has pearls and a peach which are referenced in Swift's titular track 'The Life of a Showgirl' in particular the lines "I took her pearls of wisdom, hung them from my neck," and "You're sweeter than a peach."
And the bread? Well, we've all learned just how much the pop star loves baking sourdough bread (and talking about "60 per cent of the time" as she joked on the New Heights podcast).
Travis Kelce photo

In the dressing room scene, fans noticed a picture stuck in the corner of the Hollywood mirror, which appears to be a photo of Swift's fiancé, Travis Kelce.
Internet sleuths also believe this is a photo from Kelce’s famous 2016 interview on Afterbuzz TV where he was asked to play a game of “Kiss, Marry Kill” with Swift, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry - Swift has previously referenced this in her song 'So High School' on her last album The Tortured Poets Department.
Football reference for her fiancé

There was another shoutout for Travis Kelce as at one point in the music video, a football is thrown toward Swift, which she catches, then throws behind her.
Everyone knows that Kelce is an NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs, and so it was a nod to this from Swift.

In the final shot of the video, we see Swift lying in the bathtub dressed in a glitzy bodysuit, just like she is in the album cover for The Life of a Showgirl.
