AI upscaling tech coming to XBOX Series X/S
AMD FSR 4.1, which is upscaling technology, is coming to XBOX Series X/S consoles.
It works in a similar way to what AMD has worked on with Sony, with QSSR on base PS5 and PSSR on PS5 Pro consoles - it uses artificial intelligence (AI) to take a lower resolution image and upscale it to a better one while maintaining performance.
This technology will be available "soon" on XBOX Series X/S consoles - but it's not currently known exactly when that will be.

ICYMI: XBOX Project Helix physical games hope from new XBOX job listing
Microsoft has posted a job listing for an XBOX Games Supply Strategist for its Supply Chain team and it's sparked encouragement online about physical games playing a key part in XBOX's future.
In the overview section, the candidate will "co-ordinate the launch of physical XBOX games across all platforms".
It's understood Microsoft is looking to fill a role which had become vacant, and it isn't a brand new one, but it's still encouraging Microsoft retains this focus according to this role's overview.
