Alex Salmond just nominated David Cameron for the ice bucket challenge

Alex Salmond has completed the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness and funds for motor neurone disease after being nominated by Scottish actor James McAvoy.

Now Salmond has challenged David Cameron to do the same, saying: "I saw him in a wetsuit the other day so he's got the equipment."

We know the picture Salmond was thinking of. Still, at least the prime minister refrained from pointing at any fish.

Salmond's deputy Nicola Sturgeon also took the challenge and she nominated, among others, Nick Clegg.
