Kim Kardashian deletes 'weird' birthday picture of her showering with Kylie Jenner after backlash

Kim Kardashian is known for raising a few eyebrows every now and then…

... Like her controversial comments on expensive Friesian horses in the midst of the pandemic or her recent leather bodysuit photoshoot with husband Kanye, to name a few.

But this time it appears she may have backed down from controversy after deleting a photo posted on Twitter to commemorate her sister Kylie Jenner’s 23rd birthday on Monday.

The photo was, on the surface, somewhat normal for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars. The image showed the two posing in a shower soaked in water.

The 39-year-old reality star had originally shared the wet t-shirt pics on Twitter with the caption: "Happy birthday @KylieJenner."

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan retweeted the photo with the comment: "So weird."

As Twitter-users questioned the choice of birthday-throwback photo, Kardashian appeared to delete the post. She did, however, keep other posts with different photos with her sister up on the site.

Even so, many social media users seemed to agree with Morgan, writing, “Nothing says happy birthday like a nude photo with my sister."

Another said, “Imagine taking sexy pictures with your sibling.”

Not everyone agreed, however, and thought it was all being a bit blown out of proportion. One user commented: "What's weird? Me and my sister are super close and if somebody paid me thousands and thousands to do shoots like this I wouldn't hesitate."

This seems like a valid point, but people were still judging the reality star regardless.
