Well, Coco the Alaskan Malamute didn’t have to line up.

In fact, her owner, the son of a Chinese billionaire, Wang Sicong hooked her up with not one, but eight iPhone 7 handsets.

Sicong had posted the gratuitous images on Coco’s personal verified Weibo (similar to Twitter) account.

Yes, the Malamute appears to have quite the following on social media.

According to CNN, the caption for the photo dripped with irony:

I don't understand all the show-off posts on [Social media]…What's the point? Don't make me do it?

Each iPhone 7 Plus retails at 7,988 Yuan (£926) which means a dog could probably pay your rent for a few months.

His father, Wang Jianlin, is thought to be worth $30 billion (£23 billion) thanks to his giant real estate firm.

It's not the first time Wang Sicong has done this either - in 2015 he posed the dog with two luxury edition Apple watches, attracting fierce criticism.

What a time to be alive.
